2025 Calendar / Yotsume Dye House

2025 wall hanging calendar by Yotsume Dye House, based in Kunisaki city, Oita pref. is here! 

Like the 2024 calendar, 2025 calendar theme is also the scenes from Kyushu and Okinawa regions. The artist will be leaving Oita pref., Kyushu, where he has lived and worked for 10 years, to return his my hometown of Hiroshima in 2025. The artist wanted to depict Kyushu one last time.

"The Climate and Culture of Kyushu and Okinawa.
Kyushu, with its many volcanoes such as Aso and Sakurajima, has topography and soil brought about by volcanic eruptions, and a way of life and culture unique to that area. Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Okinawa have a tropical climate mixed with cultures from other countries and Honshu (main island of Japan).

Enjoy the world of Yotsume dye house craft through this monthly calendar.

Each month, a different quality of paper is used for a change of physical “touch”.
