Blackwing Point Guard

The Blackwing Point Guard is designed to ensure your Blackwing pencil gets wherever you’re going in one piece. Crafted out of lightweight, machined aluminum, the Point Guard goes over the point of your Blackwing pencil, keeping it safe in your bag and pocket. The tip of your pencil “floats” inside the cap to protect your point against unexpected drops or jams.

Point Guards are available in matte black, bright gold, bright silver, or a mixed set of 3. Pencil not included.

Since 1930's, the Blackwing pencils had some serious cult followings by many creators, including John Steinbeck and Chuck Jones to name a few.
After it was discontinued, due to a popular demand, the fans would pay $40 and more on eBay! 
In 2010, the Blackwing 602s with the iconic rectangle eraser were brought back and it has been popular ever since.
