A6 Original Book Cover by an art director, Yoshie Watanabe who works on the fashion brand CACUMA and is active across a wide range of fields as part of the creative unit KIGI. Watanabe has published many works, including a book, BROOCH. 

On a deep-colored navy fabric, colorful small flowers with various expressions are expressed through a woven fabric with an elegant feel. It is finished into a cover with a dignified look.

A single red line runs sharply down the spine, while velour-style red and blue ribbons serve as bookmarks, adding a crisp, stylish accent. The interior is faux leather, with Yoshie Watanabe’s initials “Y.W” embossed in gold and the Hobonichi logo blind-embossed.

To make this cover as compact to carry as possible, we removed the pockets and butterfly-stopper pen holders to create a sleek, streamlined design.

Tucked inside the slot where you slip in the techo book is a hidden message: “Happy nothing special day.”
