Perfection Brass Ballpoint Pen / Gold

Newly updated version from the Perfection Ballpoint Pen in Metal. Just released in May 2026 in Japan. 

This is the NY Times, Wirecutter-approved metal ballpoint pen by Penco. Built in a chic matte-finished black, streamlined silver or gold-plated brass body with a nice weight to hold in your hand. Comes in permanent oil-based black ink, also refillable with Japanese 4C-type refills (2.3 × 67mm).

The pen fits snugly in your pocket when not in use, and can be clipped onto your chest pocket or a notebook. When it's time to write, post the pen cap onto its body – now it is the perfect length to write with ease.

All parts are made in Japan with strict quality control, and because the ink is refillable, the pen is made to last a long life.

With an updated kraft paper packaging, gifting this pen will go as smoothly as it writes. Match it with other Penco stationery items for a complete retro-chic look.
