Raymond Scott Figurine + CD Set
Hightide USA is happy to introduce Presspop from Japan!
Yuichi, the director of Hightide USA has been following this Japanese toy company, Presspop for years.
This soft vinyl figurine of a composer and a recording producer, and a known to be an early pioneer of electronic music, Raymond Scott. The figurine was released to celebrate his 100th anniversary in 2008. This set comes with a mini replica of Clavivox which Scott invented in 1952.
His music maybe heard in many animations like Looney Tunes, The Ren and Stimpy Show, The Simpsons and more. It's designed by a musician and artist, Archer Prewitt of The Coctails, The Sea and Cake).
