SPCC Tool Box 280

Simple and trusty toolbox by the notable steel manufacturing region, Tsubame Sanjo in Japan. It comes in glossy red, slightly marbled blue and green. 

Many procedures are done by hands. This tool box is a collaborative project by Saikai and Nakamura Seiko.
Every step in the production of this toolbox involves the hands of metalworkers—from bending a single sheet of metal with a bender and shaping the box components to welding on the handles—to ensure the toolbox is durable.

It may look simple, but the quality and attention to detail are apparent in the many techniques developed over the past 50 years.
